School History
The beginnings of our school started with the Port Vila Correspondence Centre in 1985. The centre was established by a group of concerned parents in Port Vila at the time.
In 1992 the Board of Directors incorporated the organisation in a limited liability company as Port Vila International School. The setting up of a full primary school was done gradually with the lower full primary classes beginning in 1992.
The school kept growing and by 1999 full primary classes to Year 7 were established. In 2008 Port Vila International School opened a new campus at Tassiriki that houses an Early Education Centre, Prep to 7 and Years 8 to 10 .
The school owes its existence to the enthusiasm and dedication of many parents, staff, the board and community members.
School Description & Situation
